The Boren Scholarship funds study abroad by U.S. undergraduate students in world regions critical to U.S. interests. This scholarship requires a language component.
There is an internal application process for this scholarship and the deadline is December 29. To apply contact the DSAO Office at studentawards@msu.edu and complete an Intent to Apply Form. For more information visit: https://www.borenawards.org/

How to Apply
- Review the Boren website to make sure you are eligible
- Complete the DSAO Intent to Apply Form at studentawards.msu.edu to get on our list of applicants.
- Email to studentawards@msu.edu along with your resume and possible dates/times to meet with an advisor.
- Format resume using the DSAO resume template
- Make sure your resume emphasizes your research and creative work. Send it to the DSA office for feedback.
