EAST LANSING, Mich. – Michigan State University has nominated two undergraduate students for the competitive Churchill Scholarship.
The Churchill Scholarship supports one year of master’s study at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, England.
Established in 1959 by the Winston Churchill Foundation of the United States, the award offers up to 16 American students of exceptional ability and outstanding achievement the opportunity to pursue graduate degrees in engineering, mathematics, or the sciences at Churchill College, University of Cambridge, England. MSU has produced 18 Churchill Scholars.
MSU’s nominees for the Churchill Scholarship are:
- Poulomi Dey, an Honors College senior majoring in Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering.
- Rachel Schenck, an Honors College senior majoring in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering in the College of Engineering.
